What is success in life? Who are truly successful?
There are famous and powerful people
who become pitiful figures in their old age.
There are people who die alone,feeling empty and desolate inside.
Just what is success?
The English thinker Walter Pater(1839-94) wrote:
To burn always with this hard gem like flame, to maintain this ecstasy is success in life.”
The person who lives life fully, glowing with life’s energy, is the person who lives a successful life.

I thought you were shallow,
And now I’m into deep.
I thought we had a good thing going,
And now I’m here and you’re going.
I thought we could simply live together.
And now I simply watch you leave.
I thought you are taking me higher,
And now I find our hats are on fire.
I am with you…..

Like love in a drunken sky
She’s confetti falling down all night
She sits quietly there
Like water in a jar

And I try

I am addicted
Whether I like it or not.
It is consuming me.
Seems like i can have it whenever I want..
I hurt others when I do it.
I think about it all day,and dare not reveal to some
People don’t understand it and that’s OK
May be this time will be different
But it is always the same..
I ask the next breeze
Can I smoke my last one…..

Change, a little something different for cryin’ out loud
Yeah a change
Even for the worse, it would be better somehow
Sometimes you just cross that line
Where everything is more of the same
When it’s do or die, step aside, turn the tide
Somethin’s gotta change
